Join us for A Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz Symposium on Thursday, November 19th from 6-7PM Central Standard Time!
This is the last day of the virtual symposium featuring artists, writers, and scholars! Admission for each session is $3-10 más o menos. Register @ bit.ly/SorJuanaSymposium
Dr. Saldaña will be presenting a food demo of a plant- based manchamanteles, which is one of the seven Moles de Oaxaca. She will also presenting on the culinary traditions of Sor Juana’s time period, as well as the influence of the convents on the evolution of traditional Mexican food as a fusion of indigenous and Spanish foodways.
