Westside Walking Tour and Discussion
Saturday, June 11, 2022 @ 8:00 am - 11:15 am
Event Navigation
Join Design|Forum, the Westside Preservation Alliance, and the Esperanza Peace & Justice Center for a walking tour of San Antonio’s historic Westside, followed by a discussion of the relationships between preservation, design, cultural heritage, and urban history. The event brings together professionals, practitioners, preservationists, and community members to articulate and understand the importance of this neighborhood to the residents and to San Antonio’s urban form and architectural history. Our conversation aims to help break down barriers to understanding and action, across professions, geographies, and divergent experiences of our city.
