Westside Native Plant Plática

Join us for a Westside Native Plant Plática led by Kamala Platt on Saturday April 15 10 AM- Noon at the Casa de Cuentos (816 S. Colorado).

We will be talking about native plants in our neighborhoods and Westside Native Plant Project ideas, plans and accomplishments. We will hope to brainstorm about the Westside’s culturally and biologically native plants and growing some of the favorite plants of our elders and plants that are native to the area and that support other aspects of nature here.

We will have information on the Native Plant Society of Texas, San Antonio and the native plant resources they have to offer.

Westside Native Gardens is a group interested in nurturing biologically and culturally native plants on San Antonio’s Westside. We work with groups and individuals to help plant and sustain native plantitas as part of our lives, communities and ecosystems. We share and exchange information and resources to develop and sustain native plant culture… We want to thank the NPSOT, SA for supporting this native plant education exchange.
