Second Saturday – Las Posadas

Join Los Corazones de Esperanza on Saturday, December 8 at 1pm for our Second Saturday oral history Convivio at the Rinconcito de Esperanza, 816 S. Colorado.

These convivios are a time for gente del Westside of San Antonio to share memories of the area. This month the theme is the novena Las Posadas. We will be having a choir of students from JT Brackenridge Elementary perform some songs in Spanish and Nahuatl. They have been practicing with Adriana Netro of Mujer Artes Cooperativa de Esperanza Peace & Justice Center.

We will have food, a piñata, and will also perform a community posada! Join us for stories, songs, snacks, y convivio!
