The Westside Preservation Alliance, the Esperanza Peace & Justice Center and the Office of Historic Preservation invite you to come share your memories–or your family’s memories–of the Alameda Theater and play a part in its future story. Featuring special guest story tellers: Maria Antonietta Berriozábal, Martha Tijerina and Maria Elena Torralva-Alonso. Moderated by Tomás Ybarra-Frausto. If you can’t attend, please post your story and we’ll be happy to include it in our story-telling.
11:30 am – Welcome and video
12:00 pm – Community Storytelling
2:00 pm – Performance by Jesus Vidales and Rita Vidaurri of Las Tesoros de San Antonio, accompanied by Trio Cantares de Mi Tierra
