The collaboration between Azul and Agarita brings the “Practice of Hope” to life through music. Both honor inherited traditions while reimagining them for the present: Azul through original compositions and traditional Mexican songs that give voice to the land and natural world, and Agarita through the instruments and techniques of Western classical music. Traditions that once set us apart now listen, respond, and sing together.
