DESCRIPTION:Join the Thrive Youth Center for an evening of original spoken word passages created and shared by the homeless youth of San Antonio. Participants are 18-24\, LGBTQ\, undocumented\, straight\, and youth of color. Hear their voices\, share their experiences\, recognize your bias’. \nDrinks and snacks provided.  Event will take place at the Esperanza Peace & Justice Center. \nThrive Youth Center’s mission is to provide a safe\, effective\, and supportive center for homeless LGBTQ youth\, so they may become productive\, skilled\, educated\, and successful adults with the ability\, opportunity\, and possibility of achieving their dreams. \n
