DESCRIPTION:Please join the Westside Preservation Alliance and the Esperanza Peace & Justice Center for the opening of the new exhibit “Los Courts\,” which documents the history of the Alazan-Apache Courts\, San Antonio’s oldest and largest public housing development. \nOpening Reception: Saturday\, September 22\, 4-6pm at the Alazan Community Room at 1011 S. Brazos St.\n—\nHighlighting the Alazan-Apache Court’ origins during the Great Depression\, the exhibit explores life at Los Courts and the role they play in providing housing in the Westside. The celebration will include refreshments y convivencia. \nThe exhibit will remain on view at the Community Room through Friday\, October 26th.
