Come do some holiday shopping to support our year around cultural arts programming and social justice work. \nIf you weren’t able to stop by during Peace Market\, you can still purchase one-of-a-kind items from international vendors this month. \nThe tiendita features hand embroidered huipiles by Teresa Lopez\, alebrijes (Oaxacan wooden figures) by Cristina Herrera\, wool rugs from the Familia Vasquez from Teotitlán del Valle\, Miniature clay art by Enedina Vasquez Cruz and mucho\, mucho más! \nOur Holiday Tiendita will be open December 5- 22 (Monday- Friday) from 10 AM- 7 PM.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for Esperanza Peace and Justice Center’s monthly Noche Azul concert series on December 10\, 2016 at 8 PM. This month’s theme is Cumbias! \n\n\n \n\n\nDoors open at 7:15 PM. Tickets are $7 at the door but any more donations are appreciated. Seating is first-come first-served. Concessions will be available for purchase. \n\n\n \n\n\nParking is available at San Antonio College in lots 21\, 28\, 29.\n\n\n———–\n\n\nAbout Noche Azul\n\n\n \n\n\nFeaturing a new theme and musical lineup each month\, Noche Azul showcases traditional Mexican songs while highlighting the cultural influences and interconnections between Latin America\, Spain and Mexico. The songs and genres of Noche Azul have included boleros\, rancheras\, folk music\, jazz\, as well as electronic music. It is a multi-media concert experience.
