DESCRIPTION:TENT (Transgender Education Network of Texas) and Esperanza present: \nSon Tus Niños También: Trans Kids Back to School \nThe event is to facilitate a conversation between parents\, their children\, and teachers on how best to include\, respect\, and protect trans youth in schools. This is especially important this year as harmful legislation in Texas targets Trans Kids\, their health and well being. We want to create a safe space for our Trans Kids and their families to share their experiences\, concerns\, and visions. \nThe event includes a Resource Fair and a plática about community rights. \nEvent Schedule:\n3 PM – 4 PM Resource Fair\n4 PM Community Gathering \nResource tables include Trans Masc Folks y Más\, The Center – Pride Center San Antonio\, Fiesta Youth\, y más! \nThis event is free and all are welcome.
