DESCRIPTION:Join us for an unforgettable time at the Todos Agua 2024 Water Festival! Get ready to dive into a celebration of our most precious resource – water through music\, poetry and art! Festival passes are available online at esperanza.eventbrite.com or at the door. Prices are shown in table below. \n \nThe festival starts on Friday March 22 2024\, which coincides with International Water Day. . We’ve curated a diverse lineup of local talent\, including renowned poets Carmen Tafolla\, Andrea Sanderson\, and Eduardo Garza\, all hailing from San Antonio. Adding to the cultural tapestry\, we have musicians from various backgrounds. Ceiba Ili is joining us from Honduras\, promising to bring a taste of Central American melodies. Mazatl Cihuatl\, a two-spirit American Indigenous woman with roots in Mexica and Chichimeca heritage\, will surely mesmerize the audience with her songs. Juan Cabrera from Paraguay will enchant the audience with his harp. And Los Hermanos Bonifacio\, representing the vibrant Garifuna culture of Honduras through their soulful rythms. Furthermore\, we’re thrilled to feature the artwork of Mauro De La Tierra\, who will showcase his talent through live painting and previous work\, adding an extra layer of creativity to the festival. We also have Greg Harman\, a multimedia journalist and the founder and editor of Deceleration News\, a bioregional journal of environmental justice that covers topics such as climate change\, public health\, water policy\, biodiversity\, and renewable energy and Marisol Cortez\, author of Luz at Midnight\, a story of an ill-timed love that unfolds in the time of climate change. \nThe festival continues for a second night on Saturday\, March 23 2024 at 7:00 pm\, we are thrilled to present Julian Herreros Rivera in a captivating solo concert. Julian’s magnetic stage presence and poignant lyrics promise to enchant the audience\, creating an unforgettable experience for all in attendance. \nOn Sunday\, March 24 at 3:30 pm\, the festival will begin with a cacao ceremony led by Diana Dos Santos\, offering attendees an immersive experience to connect with nature and each other. Following this serene start\, Julian Herreros Rivera and Azul Barrientos will come together to weave a musical journey celebrating water and the beauty of Latin American folk music. \nDon’t miss out on the Todos Agua 2024 Water Festival!
