SUMMARY:Seeds for Liberation Film Screening and Plática
DESCRIPTION:Join ACT 4 SA\, Esperanza Peace and Justice Center\, and community partners for a film screening of “Seeds for Liberation”. \n“Seeds for Liberation” highlights the Free Palestine movement and its connections to\, and solidarity with\, Black\, Chicano\, and collective liberation movements. \nThis film\, Directed by Matthew Solomon and Executive Produced by Donna Hadjikhani\, includes interviews with some of the most prominent names in the movement\, including Dr Noura Erakat\, Dhoruba bin-Wahad\, Abby Martin\, and leaders of the Atlanta Stop Cop City movement. \nAfter the screening we will have a panel featuring Matthew Solomon\, Donna Hadjikhani\, and Greg Stoker\, an anti-war combat veteran and outspoken pro-Palestine activist. \nGreg Stoker made national headlines in October when he was arrested while traveling with the Global Sumud Flotilla\, a group of ships captured by Israeli forces on their way to deliver food and other aid to Palestinians during the blockade on Gaza. \nSunday\, February 8\, 2026\n1:00 PM – 4:00 PM\nEsperanza Peace and Justice Center\n922 San Pedro Ave\, San Antonio\, TX 78212 \nDoors open at 1; Screening Starts at 1:30 ; Panel starts at 3 PM \nThis event is a free and open to the public \nPlease follow this <<LINK>> to RSVP so we can get an accurate headcount for snacks!! \n
