DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the Westside of San Antonio’s history\, culture and people with the Paseo por El Westside on Saturday\, May 4th\, at the Rinconcito de Esperanza (816 S. Colorado). \nThis event is intergenerational at the core with activities for all ages. The event will include fotobanner tours through the Westside\, workshops\, demos\, food\, and live music. \nThe community will also get a chance to visit the newest building on the Rinconcito property\, which is an adobe (compressed earth block) building that is used as a studio for Mujer Artes Cooperativa de Esperanza Peace & Justice Center. \nAdmission is free and the event is open to the public as well as family friendly. The whole family is invited whether they were born and raised in the Westside or simply enjoy cultural festivities honoring San Antonio’s heritage!
