DESCRIPTION:Join the Esperanza Peace and Justice Center for the Noche de Cultura on Friday\, May 18 starting at 6pm! We are hosting this night as a celebration of the upcoming El Mundo Zurdo Conference. Event is free and open to the public\, donations accepted. \nEvery 18 months\, the Society for the Study of Gloria Anzaldúa hosts a conference that provides a place for scholars\, students\, and community to come together with the intention of engaging in the continued study of intellectual and spiritual work of Chicana feminist Gloria Evangelina Anzaldúa. \nCome enjoy a night of poetry\, music\, readings\, dancing y más at the Esperanza Peace & Justice Center! \nFood concessions will be available for purchase.
