DESCRIPTION:Join the Esperanza Peace and Justice Center for our monthly multi-media concert experience with Azul Barrientos. This month’s Noche Azul will be featuring Tangos. \nTango is a musical fusion of communities and culture that has evolved from being a banned vulgar expression of the lower class immigrants to a cultural heritage of the world. Argentinean musicologists have traced its roots to African essences. The evolution and forms of tango include: Tango Criollo\, Tango Canción\, Tango de Orquesta\, Tango La Nueva Guardia\, Nuevo Tango\, Queer Tango\, etc. \nAzul will be accompanied by Aaron Prado\, George Prado\, Nina Rodriguez. \nDoors open at 7:15 PM. Tickets are $5 at the door. Seating is first-come first-served. Concessions will be available for purchase.
