SUMMARY:Big Give 2020 - Support Esperanza!
DESCRIPTION:Join us for The Big Give SA and help support the Esperanza’s 2020 programming and organizing! Our goal is to raise $16\,000 AND getting 400 unique donors! \n\n\n\n\n\nYou could also help us win cash prizes from The Big Give SA by donating during our POWER HOURS (12pm- 2pm OR 10pm-11:59pm) or by donating at 8PM ON THE DOT on Thursday\, March 26 to take advantage of matching funds which run out quickly! \n\nWe need YOU to support community organizing by donating!\n\n\n\n\nThe truth is that few national and local institutional funders support community organizing. Most of Esperanza’s organizing work\, over the past 33 years\, has been funded through individual donations and staffed through volunteer efforts. \nWe need to be prepared and we need your support to do it!\n\n\n\n\nAs the political climate continues to grow violent and unjust\, we all need to be prepared. We need to be ready for the possibility of being defunded at all levels; local\, state and national.
