DESCRIPTION:Come celebrate with us 10 years of our En Aquellos Tiempos photo banner and oral history project on Saturday\, September 24 at 7 p.m. at the Esperanza Peace and Justice Center. \nSince 2006\, we have been collecting and scanning photos from the late 1890s to the 1950s of the Historic Westside of San Antonio from community members. We have turned many into photo banners\, but we still have many that have never been shown to the public. \nAlthough this exhibit will highlight some of the photos from our banner project\, we will premiere never before seen photos and historias de la gente de San Antonio. \nThis event is free and open to the public\, but donations are always welcome. \nIf you or someone you know would like to share their stories or photos of the Westside with us\, please contact us at (210) 228-0201 or esperanza@esperanzacenter.org
