Paseos/Walking tours of historic sites • Westside murals bring-your-bike tour • Cuentos de las Carpas • Pan dulce merienda y platica • Performance by San Antonio's Inaugural Poet Laureate, Carmen Tafolla • Música en vivo con Las Tesoros del Westside: Rita Vidaurri, Beatriz Llamas, Perla Tapatia and Blanca Rosa; Eva Ybarra y su Conjunto; and Jacinto Guevara • Make and play with papalotes, canicas, trompos • Bring family photos from 1880-1960 to share and scan into the FotoHistorias archival collection • y más

Come and celebrate the uniqueness of the Westside and why we should continue to preserve la cultura and las casitas and familia. The pride in the Westside is la comunidad/community. You and your family are an important part of this FREE event.


SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
IN THE COMMUNITY
9:00 am - Noon	Free Raspas @ Casa de Alebrijes, 1601 Guadalupe
9:00am & 10:30am	Walking Tours through the neighborhood to visit historical buildings, photos, murals y más. Meet next door to Casa Maldonado, 1312 Guadalupe. Each tour will take approx 45 minutes to 1 hour. Tour will also stop by MujerArtes, where a Mother's Day Exhibit and Sale will be taking place. (click here for more info)

Throughout the day, visitors can share stories “En Aquellos Tiempos” and bring photographs from the 1890s to 1950s to get them scanned and to become part of the FotoHistorias archival collection, exchange plantitas and clippings with neighbors, have their portrait taken or just hang out and enjoy the música.
